About Mill Rate Taxes in Connecticut
To figure out the property tax of property you own, multiply the total assessed value of the property by the municipality's mill rate for that year, then divide that number by 1,000.
For instance, a property with an assessed value of $100,000 located in a municipality with an annual mill rate of 25 mills would have a property tax bill of $2,500 for that year.
